Porous Paving

Both Porous Pavers and Porous Paving are alternative treatments for sidewalks, roads, patios, driveways and parking lots. Unlike the traditionally used hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt, porous pavers/paving allows water to pass through the pavers/ paving and filter into the groundwater rather then running off into local waterways. Porous Pavers are individual paver units that fit together, leaving gaps for water to pass through into an infiltration storage area. Porous Paving is porous concrete or asphalt mix poured over an infiltration storage area.
